About

Emily’s photography journey began as many do, in a stuffy high school art room with other students grateful to not be in math class. Film and the dark room became her respite from the hustle and bustle of the school campus. 12 years later, she took the natural next step in her photography career and became a licensed and practicing real estate agent in Vermont and New Hampshire. Her frugality led her to try her hand at photographing, and eventually filming, her own listings. Fellow colleagues supported her seemingly outlandish endeavors, but their trust allowed for her to practice this new niche, and subsequently set her up for a career in the competitive California market several years later. With a masterful understanding of the complexities of real estate, architectural and interior design photography, Emily has evolved into a multidimensional artist, exploring a wide range of photographic realms, including film. A 15+ year passion, once a fantasy, finally became a life-long pursuit of juxtaposed elements: light and shadow, posed and candid, raw and edited.
